Plate glass is a single layer of glass and most plate glass fractures go completely through the glass. When a
projectile hits a piece of plate glass, the impact point usually results in a small hole with a chunk of glass missing
from the opposite side of the glass. Our repair system will seal the cone shape damage area.
How Do You Repair Plate Glass?
|
We use a clear resin, and under pressure it is forced into the damaged area, and at the same time the air trapped within the
break is being removed, Which completely seals the damage area.
How Long Does The Procedure Take?
|
With the pressure time and the curing time together, it will take about 1 hour per cone shaped damage. With natural sunlight
time may be less.
Why Does My Window Always Get The Cone Shape Holes?
|
Most damage occurs because they are in a high traffic or a very susceptible area. Busy streets, heavy truck area, close to
train tracks, heavy bicycle & skateboard traffic. These things can cause repeated damage.
Why Should I Repair Instead Of Replace?
|
Well, If you are in a heavy traffic area, these mishaps will definitely keep happening. It will be very expensive if you replace
your window every time you get a little cone shaped chip.
How Soon After The Damage Happens Should I Have It Repaired?
|
Right away, The longer you wait to have it repaired, the damage will get worse. Making replacement the only alternative.
